Roo Casino asked for KYC docs before my first cashout
Selfie with a handwritten note is a new one on me, I'll admit. Usually it's just ID, a utility bill, maybe a card photo if you deposited that way. The note thing is mainly an anti-fraud move so the docs can't be reused from some other site's leak, but whether Roo needs it on top of everything else at first cashout, that's the part I'd want answered.
Never hit Roo myself so I can't say if it's standard for them or a one-off flag on your account. What I'd be watching is whether the withdrawal keeps its priority in the queue while you chase the selfie around, some places quietly shove you to the back of the line once they ask for extra docs. Did they say how long the check takes once you send it? If the selfie is just a box-tick and the cashout lands quick, fair enough, annoying but harmless. If it stalls after that, then you know what the note was really for. 😭💸
500x one day, zero the next. Classic.
First cashout I ever had to jump through hoops on was just a power bill and a licence scan, so the selfie-with-note biz would've thrown me too. BetGod's right that it stops the recycled-docs mob, but honestly if I'd already handed over ID and address proof I'd be side-eyeing the ask. Give them the photo if your cashout matters to you, then keep an eye on how long they sit on it. Ah well, we grind on.
Busted more than you've deposited 😉
Same vibe here, first cashout ever and they wanted the selfie with a note too 😅 Bit full on but I sent it anyway. Did anyone actually get paid after doing it? 🙏
New here, soaking it up.
did the same dance at Roo last year, note and all. felt daft holding my licence up like a hostage photo but they paid without another fuss after that. reckon the selfie thing kicks in when thecashout lands outside your deposit pattern, so a first cashout always cops it. ah well, we grind on
I remember the old slots first-hand.
Quick silly one maybe 🙈 SlotAddict said it kicks in when the cashout is outside your deposit pattern, what does that actually mean? Like they check how you deposited? 😅
Asking dumb bonus questions, that's the job.
They just mean they look at how you normally bank with them, mate. If you always slap in small deposits on card and then one day request a payout way bigger or through a different method, that pattern change flags it and you cop the extra checks like the selfie with the note. First cashout usually triggers it anyway since they've got no history to compare you against. Slow first time, then it settles down 😄
Agree with SlotAddict, mine was a first cashout too so probably just the usual flag 😅 Felt like a hostage photo sending mine in, licence up and all. Did yours get through without them asking for anything else after? 🙏

Hostage photo's become standard at the shadier outfits, seen it a few times now. Annoying first cashout, but if they pay after, cop it 😉
It's all hit and busted before, folks.
Hostage photo, that made me laugh 😂 mine felt the same, hand shaking a bit cos it was my first cashout ever. Dave's probably right that if they pay up after, just cop it. But do they tell you how long the check usually takes once you've sent it? Still waiting on mine and getting nervous 🙈
Reminds me of turning 50 into 5k once and then the site wanted every document short of my foot x-ray before paying out 😄 did the hostage photo too, hand shaking just like yours StickySpin. Never got a straight answer on how long the check takes, they just say "processing" and go quiet, so don't panic yet. If Roo comes good after, cop it like Dave says 😉

Same thing happened at my first withdrawal with Roo, note said their name and the date. Felt like a hostage vid doing it but they paid up after, so I'll cop it 😅
Same shaky hand energy here on my first cashout 😅 Mine only asked for the usual ID and bill though, no silly note selfie. Glad it worked out for you Danny 🙏

Did the hostage selfie at Roo too, note and all, felt like a right idiot doing it in the kitchen but the cashout cleared so hard to argue. Lesson from yesterday's bust applies here: don't get precious about the checks when real money's waiting. If they pay, cop it. Anyone had them ask again on the second withdrawal or is it once only?
