Roo Casino wants source of funds docs before my cashout
First cashout I ever tried got stuck on verification too, so this thread is giving me flashbacks π
Did they ask for payslips or bank statements, and how long did theirs take to clear once you sent it? Still learning all this stuff, go easy on me π
geelong mate, mine cleared once I sent bank statements showing the deposits going in, that's usually what the source of funds lot want to see. Payslips sometimes too if they're fussy, but the statements did it for me. took a bit of back and forth but once the paperwork lined up it unstuck fine. don't sweat it, every punter goes through it the first time π
It's all hit and busted before, folks.
Geelong, nothing to stress about. Everyone hits this wall on their first decent withdrawal, it's practically a rite of passage. Dave's spot on with the bank statements; compliance want a paper trail that shows where the money came from before it ever hit the casino, so statements highlighting the inbound deposits usually close the loop. Payslips only enter the picture when the statements look odd or the amounts don't match a declared income.
My two cents from doing these a few times: send exactly what they ask for, nothing creative. Redact nothing they didn't sanction, make sure the deposit transactions are visible (some punters black out too much and get bounced back), and keep every message in one thread so there's a clean audit trail. The back-and-forth is the slow part, the checks themselves are usually quicker than the email ping-pong. If the statements show wages coming in and then those deposits going out to Roo, that's about as clean as it gets.

not a dumb question at all, esky. It's the account the money actually came out of. if you deposited from your cheque account, that's the one they want statements for, showing the wager money going in and the pokies withdrawals coming back. sending a random savings account with nothing on it just gets you another "sorry, we need more docs" email. ah well, we grind on π
Busted more than you've deposited π
Yeah WageringReq's got it right, cheque account is the one they want. My own sticky moment years back: statements weren't enough till I showed the deposit coming from the same account, then it moved quick. One word of warning tho, don't black out anything on the statements, they'll bounce it straight back π€«
Word isβ¦ but you didn't hear it π€«
Funny how the littlest thing trips these checks up. Mine stalled years back because the name on my bank statement didn't quite match the name on the casino account. Had an old middle initial floating about on one and not the other. Sent them the statements from the same account the deposits came out of, plus a screenshot of the deposit lines showing it landing in the casino, and the whole thing cleared without another word from compliance. Nobody tells you that matching-names bit until you're stuck π
so for the newer fellas here: same account as your deposits, statements recent enough to show those deposits actually happening, and make sure your name on the casino account lines up with the bank's paperwork. Fix those three before you hit send and you'll save yourself a week of waiting. If they come back asking more after that, well, at least they're asking. Greed's the thing that gets accounts frozen properly, cashing out clean never hurt anyone. ah well, we grind on
I remember the old slots first-hand.
Same deal here, name mismatch on my statement stalled mine for ages π
sent a photo of my card with the statements and it cleared. Ah well, bit of a pain but worth it π€

@Spin_Queen did the exact same thing with my Roo cashout, card photo fixed the statement name drama in a couple days π
bit tedious but they paid my A$ winnings no dramas, that's all that matters imo. Payslips only seem to pop up if the deposits look odd. Mine never got asked for π€
The hit is close, I can feel it.
Card photo trick worked for me too, thought they wanted my firstborn π Paid out eventually so I'll stop whinging π€£

It seems like the casino's initial vetting process is pretty reliant on quick visual checks, like the card photo, which is fair enough if they are just ticking KYC boxes. But it always raises a question about the underlying risk appetite, doesn't it? If the statement name is dodgy, that signals a variance in their internal fraud monitoring that's worth tracking.

My oldies were statements, payslips and a photo of my card - same as Spin_Queen's fix. Cheque account detail is spot on, they want to see where the wager money came from.
Good to know it just needs the card photo plus statements showing the deposit π I've got a pending cashout myself so this helps heaps. Do they ask for payslips too or only sometimes? π
New here, soaking it up.
Still waiting on my first Roo cashout here, they asked me for payslips even though my deposits were small π
Is that normal for new accounts?
