Nah, never thought I’d hit a snag like this coming through the Aus system. Getting asked for KYC right before you plan to cash out feels like a major hurdle, doesn't it? Is this Ripper Casino doing checks now for Aussie punters? Hope it's just a quick paper push and doesn't kill the bankroll session.
500x one day, zero the next. Classic.

they all do it mate, ripper's no different. every site i've pulled a decent win off has asked for the id folder at some point, licence, a bill, sometimes a selfie holding the thing like a hostage photo 😄 first hit of the check is always a bit nerve-wracking but it's standard. send clean docs, don't get clever with cropped photos, and they usually sort it. i got stung years ago sending a blurry power bill and it went back and forth for ages, so learn from my pain. once you're verified once the next cashout's smooth sailing. patience, mate. greed is a wolf but so is a slow verification queue, ha.
It's all hit and busted before, folks.

Feels like every few months some casino decides they're doing 'extra diligence' and slams a KYC wall up, doesn't it? You say it's standard, Dave, but I still think it's just them fishing for reasons to delay the payout or run a quick scam on a punter who's excited about hitting a big session. Getting asked for IDs right before you cash out is always a red flag for me. Before anyone throws up their documents, have they properly checked the site's licence and if it's even on the blacklist first? I'm skeptical of any win until I see the cash actually drop into the account. Got a cashout screenshot?
Licence first, deposit after.

Go easy on me, still learning bonuses and all this. Dave mentioned a selfie holding the ID, is that actually a normal thing they ask for? 😅

feels a bit stressful when you first get hit with the paperwork, doesn't it? basically, KYC is just the casino needing to prove you're actually you, to make sure no dodgy characters are running scams through their site. if ripper's hitting you with those checks before you pull the grand out, they just gotta follow procedure, same as when i used to play the old Mega Moolah back in the day. ah well, we grind on.

Righto, LeeManly, I get where you're coming from, but let me tell you about the time I turned 50 bucks into about 5k years back and got the same paperwork wall. Sent the licence and a photo of meself holding it like a passport control queue, grumpy as anything, and the payout still landed fine. Been through this cycle before at more than one site and the folder never came back to bite me. Geelong_True, yeah mate, the selfie thing is real, sounds ridiculous but it's just them matching the face to the ID. Lee's got half a point though, sometimes it drags if your docs aren't clear, so take the photos properly first go and save yourself the back and forth. Fresh shot of the bill too, not a crumpled one from the ute console 😄

Ugh, that feels so stressful, WageringReq_FC. 😟 If they ask for my ID and a photo, how do I know if I'm going to clear the wagering fast? 🙏
New here, soaking it up.

feels like all this extra paperwork is just the digital equivalent of having your spark plug checked before you can drive off the lot. i've been through this cycle before, especially when trying to pull a decent amount out, even back when the old sites were running different code. it's always a moment of mild panic, isn't it, especially for a new punter like TrueBlueBlue? when they hit you with the docs, the important thing isn't how scary the request is, but making sure you send everything clear. i remember one time, some bloke had his ID copy blurry from a bad phone photo, and they just stuck the withdrawal in pending limbo because they couldn't verify him. so keep that in mind; if your selfie holding the doc looks like it was taken in low light down at a dodgy pub, yeah, you're gonna wait ages. it's just their system trying to keep the whole operation tidy, you know.

I feel that stress too, it’s super worrying. Maybe I’m being dumb, but how long does this ID check usually take? 🥺

Honestly, getting KYC sorted is just part of clearing the win when you're trying to cash out in time. Hope it clears quick for you.
Bonus taken, wagering cleared.
