Abigcandy asked me for KYC docs before I'd even deposited
That's a weird one, KYC before you've even put a cent in. Normally they don't ask for docs until you try to pull a win out, that's the whole point of the check. Asking upfront makes me sus they're filtering players by geo before letting you near the lobby, maybe because of how the site handles Aussie accounts.
My take, don't send anything yet. If you haven't deposited, there's no money of yours sitting there, so you've got nothing stuck and nothing to chase. Worst case you walk away and find somewhere that lets you have a slap first and does the checks when it actually matters, at cashout time. Only thing I'd be careful about is if you do deposit and hit something decent, that's when the paperwork dance starts and you want to know exactly what they'll ask for before your cashout sits in pending. Did they give a reason when they asked, or just a generic verify your account email?
500x one day, zero the next. Classic.
yeah that's backwards alright. every joint I've played at over the years, the docs get asked for at cashout time, when there's actual money involved. before a deposit? never seen it.
mind you I'd be careful here. an offshore outfit asking for your licence and a bill before you've even handed over a cent, that's your info sitting with them for nothing in return. I've been around long enough to know the ones worth playing don't need your paperwork upfront. they'll take your A$ deposit happily and only get fussy when you win. my rule has always been the same, if they want something from you before they've given you anything, ask yourself why. greed built this industry, patience protects your wallet 😄
It's all hit and busted before, folks.
Same here, only ever been asked for docs when cashing out. Sending ID before any deposit feels dodgy, I'd want to see who's behind them first 😬
New here, soaking it up.
Seriously how do they even know who I am before I put any money in 🤔 it feels weird tbh 😟

kyC just means verify your ID, mate, name, address, photo. Nearly every joint asks for it when you go to withdraw, that's when there's real money to check. Asking before you've even deposited is backwards, they've got nothing to pay you. I'd want to know exactly who I'm sending my passport to first, ah well, we grind on.
I remember the old slots first-hand.
Strange one alright, I've signed up to more of these joints than I've had hot dinners and never once been asked for ID before putting money in. Only time a doc request ever came early was right before a cashout, which at least made sense. Sending a passport to a place you haven't even had a slap at yet? I'd want to know exactly who's behind them first, ah well, we grind on.
Busted more than you've deposited 😉
Yeah this one's got me scratching my head too 😅 I only made my first deposit last month and nobody asked for a thing until I tried to take a bit back out. Total noob here so maybe there's some reason they want ID early, but I'd be careful sending docs to a place that hasn't taken your money yet. Anyone actually sent theirs in this situation? 🤔
Learn something new about casinos every day.
It makes me worry too 🤔 they ask for docs before I put a cent in, is that safe though? 😬
read this thread twice to make sure I hadn't misread the order of events. KYC before a deposit? I've been through this cycle more times than I'd like to count, turned 50 into 5k once at a joint and even then the docs only showed up when I went to pull the lot out. That's how the check normally gets triggered, cashout first, paperwork second.
Your way has the cart miles ahead of the horse. The worry for me would be where those documents go if the place never actually processes a dollar of your money. Licence and a bill scan is a fair trade when there's a win sitting in the cage waiting. With nothing in and nothing out, I'd be asking them straight up why they want it, and keeping my copies to myself till there's a withdrawal on the table. Old-school grind taught me that much anyway 😉
Not sending ID to a joint I haven't deposited a cent into. Docs stay in the folder till there's a cashout worth checking, simple as that 🔥
