Abigcandy Casino asking for source of funds before withdrawal
Same thing happened to me at another site. Didn't hear a word about checks when I signed up, then the second I hit withdraw suddenly they want payslips and bank statements 😅 Still learning bonuses and all this, so is that normal or should I be worried? Anyone actually got paid after sending the docs?

Normal as rain, mate, annoying as it is. A bank wanting statements when you go to grab a cheque has always been the way of it, and these sites save the KYC dance till you ask for money out cos that's when they actually check who you are. Send the docs, keep copies, and don't let greed talk you into skipping it, I've seen more cashouts stalled by grumbling punters than by the check itself. 😄
It's all hit and busted before, folks.
Dave's pretty much nailed it, though I'd add the nuance: the timing is deliberate, and that's exactly how it should work if they're doing it properly. Verifying a punter before they've deposited a cent costs the casino money for every player who walks away; doing it at cashout means they only run the check on people who actually have money coming. Convenient for them, sure, but it also means the check tends to be thorough when it finally lands.
Where I'd watch it is the reverse order, if a site dangles a bonus at signup, takes your deposits happily for weeks, and then suddenly discovers "source of funds" the moment you ask for a withdrawal, that's a red flag worth noting in your own spreadsheet, so to speak 📊. The check itself is normal. What matters is whether they process it promptly or use it as a stalling tactic.
Do the EV, then spin.
KYC just stands for Know Your Customer, Mike — fancy way of saying they check you're you: ID, proof of address, payslips if they want to know where the money came from. Annoying as buggery when it lands right at cashout like the OP copped, but I'd rather jump through the hoops than have a site happily take my A$ for months then freeze the lot. Spose one upside of the old-school venue pokies — the club already knows your mug before you put a fiver in 😄
Funny thing is I've copped the same dance at a couple of offshore sites, and it always lands right when the withdraw button gets pressed 😏 Dave's spot on that it's how they do it, but my caveat: not every mob asks for the same pile of docs, some just want ID and a bill, others go full interrogation mode with payslips. Had one where I sent everything and still got asked for "one more statement" weeks later, that's when you start wondering how keen they are to actually pay. Keep your paperwork clean from the start, mate, saves the headache 🤫
Word is… but you didn't hear it 🤫
Same dance here, years back. Withdraw button pressed, suddenly the paperwork arrives. Provided it and the cash came through eventually. Patience is part of the game, ah well, we grind on 😄
I remember the old slots first-hand.
So it's basically standard before they release the cash? Good to know 😅 I'll send whatever docs they want then. Do the checks usually hold up your whole withdrawal while they wait? 🤔

@LuckIsAllTillIWin yeah it's standard everywhere these days mate, just send it all in one go. Mine sat frozen till they signed off, bit annoying but the withdrawal landed after. Don't touch that reverse button whatever you do 😅
Backing my slot to the last spin.
@Turbo_win standard or not, funny how the checking only ever starts when you ask for money out 😂 payslips worked for me too but mine sat in "review" longer than I'd have liked. Hope you didn't cancel that withdrawal to keep playing, mate, the reverse button is basically a charity button. But did they actually let you withdraw in the end?
Here to argue, not to clap for your profit.
@LuckIsAllTillIWin yeah mate it froze the lot for me there, couldn't touch the balance till docs cleared. Send everything first go and don't reverse that withdrawal 💸
500x one day, zero the next. Classic.
Took me a solid week at Abigcandy to clear the checks and then the payout landed fine, worth it in the end 🔥 Hit big last night on there too so I'm biased lol. Yeah LuckIsAll, everything freezes till they sign off on your docs, just get them in quick, this slot pays when it pays 💰
Spinning reels dawn to dusk.
Freeze happens the moment you hit withdraw, that's how it went for me there too. Docs went in same day and still ate most of a week, reckon the trick is just sending everything quick so they've got no excuse to sit on it 😅 Cashed out in time is everything, don't get tempted to reverse and chase while the checks are sitting there 💸
Everyone keeps saying send everything quick. But what counts as "source of funds" exactly? Payslips? Bank statement? Total noob here 😅 thanks for the warnings about the reverse button though

@TrueBlue_North payslips or a bank statement showing your wage going in works mate, mine was just the last couple payslips. Send it quick and cashed up in no time 🔥 ah well, and yeah never touch that reverse button, that's how they get ya 🤑💰
Backing my slot to the last spin.
Yeah the review queue timing is the killer, mine sat for a good few days there. Payslips plus a bank statement with the wage deposit visible did the trick for me. Biggest lesson was cashing out in time and never touching that reverse, once you cancel it that bonus money just evaporates 💸
@Turbo_win standard or not, funny how the checking only ever starts when you ask for money out 😂 payslips worked for me too but mine sat in "review" longer than I'd have liked. Hope you didn't cancel that withdrawal to k…
@ArvoKid "review" queue is where my bankroll went to die last time, never came back 😂 reverse button? mate that's just donating to the casino again 🤣
The only serious thing here is my bust.
