Good on you for getting the docs sorted before you even hit the button, that's the mistake I made the first time. I've been through the Casino Mate verification a while back now, and honestly the usual suspects are a photo of your ID with a glare on it, or a utility bill that's a bit too old. Make sure the address proof matches what you registered with, that's where mine got pinged. Ah well, we grind on.

Also photograph the docs flat on a dark surface with daylight behind you, no flash. If your payment doc is a card shot, cover all but the last four digits and sign the back first. The verification mob are picky about edges of the doc being visible too, so no cropping. Do all that in one go and you'll likely clear it in a single pass instead of the back and forth that drags a first withdrawal out for ages. 📊

Nah mate, not a dumb question at all, better asked than knocked back. Recent generally means the last three months, so a couple of months old should still be fine. If yours is pushing that, easiest trick is to log into your internet banking and download a statement dated today. That counts as proof of address, the date is fresh and the name comes out exactly how the bank has you on file.
Turned a musty old rates notice into a same-day bank statement that way myself once, went through without a squeak. Just make sure the whole page is visible, no fingers over the edges, daylight like BetGod said. Glare and shadow are what cull most first attempts. Ah well, we grind on 😉

My two bobs worth for the newbie fella, the glare thing is overrated, it's the corners that kill you. If even one corner of the licence is cut off or your thumb's over the date, back it goes. Lay the card flat on a dark bench, phone straight above, whole card in frame. Turned 50 into 5k once and had the whole thing hung up a week over a blurry card photo, learnt my lesson the hard way 😄

Fresh docs every re-check seems overkill to me, TurboX. Same ID doesn't expire in a year, so what are they actually re-verifying, that you're still alive? 😄 I'd be asking support which doc triggered it before resending the whole folder, otherwise you're feeding them knockbacks. My proof of address is staying bank-statement fresh just in case though, that one I get. 💸
