Anyone else found the KYC over there a proper slog? Won a bit last month and the verification requests just kept coming, one document after another. First time I've hit a wall like that getting money out, curious if it's just me or everyone from Australia copping the same treatment.
It's all hit and busted before, folks.

DaveFortune, that matches what I've heard from a couple of mates over east, though I haven't copped it myself yet. My theory is that geo Australia is exactly the sort of place where an offshore outfit's compliance desk goes into overdrive, because the grey status here makes them extra twitchy before releasing a win. One document after another is classic cover-your-backside behaviour. I keep a spreadsheet on variance and expected value for my sessions, and even I can't model a KYC queue, there's no hit rate for paperwork. On a small spin sample you can't tell much, but the pattern of repeated checks on Aussie withdrawals does seem common. Did they ever give a reason for the second and third requests, or just silence?

Is everyone hitting these same KYC snags with Rocket? Getting through the documents feels like the hardest part of clearing the bonus. 💸😭
Bonus taken, wagering cleared.

Glad it's not just me then 😅 my first withdrawal's been sitting in "verification" for ages. Maybe I'm being dumb but does anyone know if documents getting rejected resets the whole wait? 🙏
Learning to clear wagering, go easy 🙏

Embarrassing question 😅 but what counts as passing KYC? Is it once they approve your ID or only when the money actually lands? Still learning all this. 🙏

No dumb question at all, mate, everyone learns this the hard way. Passing KYC means they've approved your identity documents, full stop. The money landing in your account is a separate step that comes after, and it can still take its sweet time even once your ID is ticked off. So you can be "verified" and still be waiting on the actual payout. And no, Wollongong_South1990, a rejected doc shouldn't reset the whole queue, but it does shove you to the back while they ask for the next thing. Dave's story up top is the classic version: one doc approved, then they want another, then another. I've been around long enough to remember when cashing out was the easy part, but ah well, we grind on. Just answer their emails quick and keep copies of everything you send.

The entire fuss over KYC really boils down to compliance bottlenecks, doesn't it? It's not the game itself that throws up this kind of variance; it's how these overseas operations try to tick off local regulatory boxes while dealing with Aussie players. I’ve watched a couple of friends go through the whole thing, sending scans of their ID and proof of address, and the biggest difference in speed wasn't down to their actual winnings, but which document they submitted first. Sometimes they'll pause verification until you provide a different utility bill, even if the first one was technically fine. There’s a proper variance nuance there. You get the impression that the casino is checking your account activity or something, but mostly it feels like they're performing a tedious, multi-step administrative process just to confirm you are who you say you are before they can even consider the withdrawal transaction.

@DaveFortune yeah same sort of thing happened to me, felt like every doc I sent they found another one to ask for 😬 My bit of luck was I scanned my licence before I even deposited, saved me at least one round. Still reckon the money landing is the only real proof it's done, an approved ID meant nothing until the cash showed up.
Asking dumb bonus questions — that's the job.

Worth remembering the KYC tick isn't the finish line, as WageringReq said. My own bit of colour from last year: even after my licence and a utility bill got the nod, the payout sat in "processing" a while longer because the payments side ran its own check on the withdrawal method. On a small spin sample that's all I can say, but build in extra patience after the ID clears, especially from somewhere offshore like Rocket. 📊

@SlotAddictLord scanning the licence first is smart, wish I'd thought of that 😅 Mine came up the same way DaveFortune said, doc after doc, and even once I was verified the withdrawal sat there a bit longer which threw me. Maybe I'm being dumb but I reckon passing KYC is only half the battle then. Thanks for the breakdowns everyone, this thread saved me a panic email 🙏

Vetted this morning after weeks of doc ping-pong, so yeah, you're right, the payout queue is its own second hurdle. Ah well, we grind on 😄
I remember the old slots first-hand.
