No dumb question at all, Adelaide, KYC is just the joint checking you're you before they hand over the money. They'll usually want photo ID and a utility bill or something with your address, sometimes only when you go to withdraw. Some places ask upfront, others wait till you've had a slap and want to cash out, and that's when the hold-up happens if your docs don't match the name on the account. ah well, we grind on 😉
