King Johnnie asked for KYC docs twice on the same cashout
This happened to me on my first cashout ever and I nearly panicked π
Had the withdrawal approved, then a day later support asked for my ID again like they'd never seen it. Still learning bonuses and all this stuff so honestly didn't know if that was normal or a red flag.
Is there a reason they'd re-check the same doc twice on one cashout? Do support teams just lose files or is it a second person signing off? Keen to hear if others copped this too π
nearly panicked on your first cashout, mate? turned 50 into 5k once and the casino still asked for my licence twice before letting the dough go, thought I'd won the lotto and lost it in the same hour π but honestly, an approved cashout going back in the queue for a second check smells like a new compliance officer woke up, nothing more sinister. annoying as buggery, but if the docs went through fine the first time, just send the same ones again and keep it polite.
Total noob question π
but when ChasingLossesAgain says the withdrawal went "back in the queue" after the second KYC check. Does that mean the whole cashout restarts from scratch, or does it just resume where it stopped once they're happy with the docs? Still learning all this, sorry if it's dumb π

No dumb question at all, mate. "Back in the queue" usually means the clock resets β they've pulled your cashout from the approval line while they eyeball the docs again, and once they're satisfied it goes through as a fresh review. Been through it myself more than once; the pain is that the waiting starts over, even if you sent the same licence they already had on file. Greed is a terrible queue-jumper, but patience gets paid π
It's all hit and busted before, folks.
ah well, I've copped the double-ask at King Johnnie too - first set of docs went through sweet, then a fortnight later they wanted the same licence again before releasing a withdrawal that was already ticked off. my guess is their compliance team flags you for a fresh check every so often and nobody tells the support crew, so the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing. annoying more than sinister, and once you re-send it the money does land. ah well, we grind on π
I remember the old slots first-hand.
Glad it's not just me π¬ my King Johnnie cashout got pulled back for a second ID check too. Does anyone know if support gives you a rough wait time once docs are resubmitted? π

Same thing happened on my first cashout there π¬ docs ticked off, then they asked again mid-process. Do they at least tell you why the check got re-triggered, or is it just radio silence till it clears? π

@LuckIsAllTillIWin mostly radio silence tbh, they'll ping ya via email when done though. annoying yeah but both my cashouts landed fine after the extra check π°

@AdelaideMate same here mate, the silence is the worst part but yeah my cashout landed fine after the second check too π€ hit big last night on my favourite pokies there and didnt even stress about the KYC rerun this time lol. Bit annoying they re-ask for the same licence you already sent, but if the money keeps coming through A$ in my account im not gonna whinge too loud π
anyone else found the email usually comes faster at night?

@Payline888 happy for you, genuinely, but "landed fine" without a screenshot is just words in a casino thread. Got a cashout screenshot? Timestamp, amount, the works. The KYC rerun twice on the same withdrawal is the bit that gets me, once I understand, twice on one request smells like they're fishing for a reason to stall.
@Esky_24, to your question: no one here can tell you if it's every cashout or just the first few, because the answers in this thread contradict each other. What I'd do is check the blacklist first, screenshot your pending withdrawal now, and if it sits past their stated processing window, you'll have the evidence ready. The silence during a pending withdrawal is where casinos do their best work.
Hype isn't a payout.
@CairnsKid spot on, mate. Two people in this thread saying "the A$ landed anyway" and not one screenshot between them - that's exactly how these threads turn into free advertising. And the double KYC ask on the same cashout is a red flag in itself, that's stalling behaviour, not paperwork. I'll believe it when someone posts the payment confirmation with dates visible.
Licence first, deposit after.

@Payline888 haha same, once you've been through the rerun once you just shrug at it π
my last cashout sat in the quiet zone for a few days then landed no drama. hit a nice run on my all-time favourite pokie there recently too and the A$ came through fine after the double check... long as they actually pay, I'll cop the wait ah well π₯π°

@BornToSpin_Mode57 glad it landed for you. Maybe I'm being dumb but does the rerun happen on every cashout there or just the first few? Got my first withdrawal pending now π¬π
Asking dumb bonus questions β that's the job.
@Esky_24 rerun's not every cashout, usually just early ones. Did you even withdraw or just dreaming on paper? π Post the screenshot when it lands.
A paper win won't feed you.
Yeah copped the double doc ask too on my last cashout there, emailed the same stuff twice and thought they were having a crack π
but the A$ hit my account anyway few days later. @Esky_24 don't stress mate, it's just the early ones, once you're verified proper it flows π°π°
The hit is close, I can feel it.
@WildWin777 the timing is the interesting bit, mate, was that double doc ask on your first cashout or after you were already verified? My spreadsheet habit says the first withdrawal on an account carries most of the friction, so if yours was late in the account's life that's a bit harder to wave off. And a screenshot of the payout wouldn't hurt the thread either, Lee's got a point about receipts.
Do the EV, then spin.

@OneMoreDepositDenier same read from my sheet, friction clusters on cashout number one. PaulVegas, dragging verified punters' payouts only burns the reputation they need. π
RTP is a long-run number.
haha CairnsKid the lads in this thread are stingy with proof π I copped the double doc ask on my last King Johnnie cashout too, thought something was cooked but the A$ landed anyway. @Esky_24 nah mate it's usually just tβ¦
@captive agree mate, copped the double doc ask myself, A$ still landed π€ get verifed once and it's smooth after π₯π°π°

@DannyFortune310 I got the double doc ask too a while back and same story, paid up eventually. Weird bit is Lee's got a point - mine was the first cashout on that account, so I put it down to new-account fumbling rather than stalling. Have any of yours been after you were already verified? That'd change my read a bit πΈ
Bonus taken, wagering cleared.
π
mine was my first cashout too, got the doc ask twice before it cleared. Go easy on me butβ¦ how do you actually tell stalling from normal new-account fumbling? π€

@SlotAddictLord easy way to tell: count the days between asks. Fumbling is one sloppy request then it clears, stalling is a fresh excuse every time you send something π If the payout clock resets each round, that's your answer. A win on paper means nothing till it lands, right π€‘πΈ

@HobartTrue the clock reset bit is the kicker for me - had a double-docs run with them once, second ask hit right as the first batch cleared review, and the whole wait started over. Cleared eventually but I'd already dropped my bet per spin to pocket change on instinct π Cashing out in time is everything, and stalling kneecaps exactly that.πΈ

@Fortune_77 mate you got paid and you're still calling it fumbling? cheeky. The bit everyone's glossing over is they only ask for double docs when the money's LEAVING, never when you deposit π So where's the profit for them in dragging it? Exactly. Did you even withdraw since, or was that the one and done? π€‘πΈ

@SlotAddictLord HobartTrue basically nailed it π
For me the tell was whether they gave a reason each time. First ask was standard ID stuff, second one felt like "oh also this" with no explanation. Mine cleared after that, but if the payout clock resets every round I'd be kicking up a stink. Keep screenshots of everything mate π

@TrueBlueBlue the "oh also this" ask with no reason is the classic tell, been there myself. Word is they clear once a mate of mine leaned on support chat daily till someone actually explained the hold π€« Keep your docs fresh anyway, expired utility bill got me a second round once and that one was on me.
Word isβ¦ but you didn't hear it π€«
Been through the double-docs dance with them myself, second ask came with zero explanation and my payout clock just sat there. My rule now: if a cashout needs more than one round of paperwork I drop to the minimum bet per spin on whatever's left and treat the rest as pending till it lands. Yesterday's bust taught me that - chasing a stuck withdrawal with bigger bets is how you hand it all back. Cashing out in time is everything ππΈ
@BigWinOrBustHQ spinning min bets while waiting is actually smart, might steal that idea π
I got hit with the double-docs too, second ask was some vague "verification update" rubbish with no reason attached. Drove me mad checking the pending page every arvo.
Still gotta say though, once I leaned on their chat like Harry said, they sorted it and my A$ withdrawal landed fine. King Johnnie's my go-to, hit big on their pokies last month, so maybe I'm biased but I reckon most punters just need to nag support till someone explains the hold π₯π°
The hit is close, I can feel it.
How can they ask twice? King Johnnie is just super strict about the paperwork, ah well. π But honestly the clock hanging like that is proper rage-inducing, @BigWinOrBustHQ, I totally feel that pain. Still, gotta stay on it every evening and trust the system, I got a HUGE win last night ngl! π°π€π₯

@Dave_RTP that clock reset thing happened to me too, was spinning min bets for a week praying the pending page would move π₯ still got paid though and honestly King Johnnie always comes through, this slot pays when you wait it out π° dropped my bet size as well, no way I'm riding full stakes while docs sit in limbo ah well
The hit is close, I can feel it.
A week of spinning those minimum bets while the payout is stuck in pending is absolutely maddening, honestly. It feels like a total waste of capital, even if the Expected Value (EV) eventually resolves in your favour, which is not always the case when dealing with unexpected administrative holds. On a small spin sample, the experience is pure psychological torture.
What tends to happen with these protracted KYC or verification delays is that the casino system is likely running background compliance checks, perhaps cross-referencing documents against some external database. The visible clock just hangs there while the backend processing completes. Itβs a function of institutional procedure, not necessarily the slot itself paying out when you wait, but the initial procedural bottleneck definitely adds a massive element of unpredictable variance to the payout timeline.
Volatility > vibes.
