Been through the ID check at the cage myself once, they wanted extra proof of address before they'd pay out a decent win and it added a fair chunk of waiting around. Annoying but pretty standard for a big venue, better they verify than hold your money in limbo for weeks. Did they at least tell you exactly which documents they were short on, or are you just sitting there chasing emails?
500x one day, zero the next. Classic.

yeah the cage checks are their favourite stall tactic aren't they 😄 had the same sort of dance at crown, walking around like a lost tourist waiting for someone to wave me through. proof of address is a classic one, seems they only remember to ask for it once you've actually won something worth bothering about. but look, better a slow pay than no pay i reckon. land venue with a licence at the counter, they'll get there eventually. online side is a different jungle altogether, which is why i mostly keep to the local pokies and take my cash by hand. patience pays, greed collects nothing but regret 😉
It's all hit and busted before, folks.

Same deal at the cage here, extra proof of address got wheeled out the moment my win looked worth checking. Standard? Maybe. Still ask for the payout receipt before anyone calls it smooth.

Licence first, deposit after.

is this 'extra proof of address' thing always required even if my payout isn't huge? 🥺 What's the actual minimum for them to hold up the ID checks? 🤔

ah well, that whole proof of address thing is usually more about ticking boxes than the actual size of your win, especially down at places like crown. they just want to make sure your identity checks out, even if you only knocked up a small amount. it's just a hassle, doesn't matter if your pokie haul was a ripper or just a few hundred dollars.ah well, we grind on.
Busted more than you've deposited 😉

makes ya wonder how much paper moves through those cages eh. they're mostly just doing their mandated paperwork, doesn't matter if the win was big or small.

Yeah TurboX is right, the cage needs the paperwork sorted regardless of size. Got stung myself once, small cashout still stuck till my licence matched. So it can drag even on little wins? 🥺

Yeah nah, same story here. Mate at the cage reckons even a small cashout can sit while they match your licence against the system. Ah well, we grind on 😉
I remember the old slots first-hand.

Seriously, waiting for even a small withdrawal is so stressful 😟 I felt so lost trying to sort out my ID proof last week.

Yeah the licence-match thing seems to be the common snag for everyone here, cage won't budge till it clears even on the small ones. Only advice I'd give is bring a fresh utility bill with your licence next time, saved me a second trip. Painful but once you're in their system the next cashout goes smoother 😭
Cashing out in time is half the battle.
