Rocket Casino asking for KYC docs before any cashout
Got a cashout pending at Rocket and they've slapped a KYC request on it before anything moves. Fair enough in principle, but my bankroll's sitting there frozen while I dig out docs, and that stings when you've cleared a bonus and just want the money banked.
Anyone here actually been through their check? Curious what they asked for. Licence, utility bill, the usual? And did the withdrawal land quick once you sent it through, or did it sit in pending limbo? Cashing out in time is everything with these joint, so if the verification drags on I want to know before I chuck more sessions at the place. Keen to hear real experiences from anyone who's got paid.
500x one day, zero the next. Classic.
The docs thing only stings when you're caught unprepared, mate. Rule of thumb I've learnt the hard way - have your id and a bill ready before you even deposit anywhere. Cleared a bonus once and sat on frozen winnings for ages because I had to chase everything down; now I get the KYC sorted straight after signing up and cashouts just glide through 😄
It's all hit and busted before, folks.
The sting is real but the KYC isn't the part I'd worry about — any offshore site happy to take Aussies while ACMA blocks half of them is where my eyebrows go up. Dave's right about having docs ready, sure, but got a cashout screenshot from anyone here once Rocket actually pays? Believe it when you cash out.
Licence first, deposit after.
This is exactly the sort of thing I've been stressing about 😅 Only made my first deposit recently and had no idea you should have ID and a bill ready beforehand. Cheers Dave, that helps. What worries me is LeeManly's point though: does anyone know if Rocket actually pays out Aussies after the KYC, or do the docs just buy you a longer wait? Would love to hear from someone who got a cashout through 🙏

Anyone saying "just get the docs sorted after you win" has never had a four-figure cashout frozen over a blurry phone photo 😭 I ran into the same wall at Rocket, they wanted proof of address before releasing anything, and I'll admit I hadn't prepped it. Cleared the bonus, was up, then sat on my hands for a bit while the paperwork went through. Painful lesson.
My rule now: first decent hit, I screenshot the balance and upload the ID the same day, before they even ask. Cashing out in time is everything, but a cashout you can't actually withdraw is just a number on a screen. As for whether Rocket actually pays out in the end, mine went through once the docs were ticked off, so I'd say the check is annoying but not a dodge. The offshore side of it, Lee's got a point though, that's the part I keep half an eye on too 🔥
A digital bank statement works fine Mike, as long as it shows your name and address clearly and isn't older than a couple of months. They mostly care it's legible and recent. I've sent photos of a rates notice off my phone before and it went through no worries, just make sure the whole page is in frame. Upload the clearest thing you've got and don't stress if they come back asking again; happens to half of us 😄
Fine, KYC is standard everywhere, but I'd add a layer of caution here: Rocket is targeting Australians while online casino services aren't legally offered to us under the Interactive Gambling Act - so when they hold your cashout pending and ask for docs, who's the regulator you can actually complain to if they decide to keep the lot? That's the part nobody in this thread has answered yet.
Mike, yes a digital bank statement is fine, ChasingLosses is right on that. But my broader point stands: every "KYC before payout" story from an offshore site ends one of two ways. Paid after a wait, or stalls and the support chat goes quiet. I believe it when someone cashes out and posts the screenshot with the transaction showing. Anyone here actually completed a Rocket withdrawal end to end, or is everyone still at the "docs under review" stage?
Licence first, deposit after.
I do KYC upfront everywhere now, saved me a frozen A$ cashout once. That said Manly_North has a point. If they stall docs forever there's no local regulator to yell at. 😭
Sam, doing KYC upfront is sensible advice, but "saved me once" is one story. Got a cashout screenshot from that resolution? If Rocket stalls the docs with no local regulator to escalate to, "I did KYC early" means nothing - check the blacklist first and see who actually got paid.
Hype isn't a payout.
Got stung by a KYC hold once myself. Now I send ID before my first withdrawal, not after. Waiting on docs with the bankroll frozen is pure pain. 😭
CairnsKid has a point though. Sending ID early only works if they actually process it. My worry is the reverse: some of these offshore joints love a KYC request right when you've cleared wagering and hit, then find "an issue" with the doc. Anyone here actually had Rocket pay out after docs, or does everyone stall at the same step? 🔥
500x one day, zero the next. Classic.
Tassie's got the sharp end of it, the doc shuffle right after wagering clears is the classic move, and once they "find an issue" with your utility bill you're just emailing into the void. I bank the win and request the cashout same session now, docs attached straight away, because every hour that balance sits pending is an hour their excuse machine is running. Would rather cop the ID upload before I've hit than argue about it after. 🔥
Bonus taken, wagering cleared.
You lot are doing homework on KYC like it'll change the ending 😂 BetGod, straight question, did they actually let you withdraw, or is it still sitting there "processing"? Ten bucks says the doc comes back "too blurry" the exact week you stop chasing it 🤡💸 house always finds a way, they just call it compliance now.
Here to argue, not to clap for your profit.
ArvoKid, straight answer: still stuck, and that's the whole worry for me. Cleared the wagering, hit decent on a feature, cashout request goes in, and now the KYC shuffle starts. Every day it sits there is a day my discipline gets tested, I'm itching to have another slap with money that's technically already mine. 😭
Tassie hit the nail on the head though. If they process docs quick and pay, fair enough, that's just the toll. But if the doc comes back with some "issue" the day after you've cleared a bonus, that's the oldest trick going. My rule now: whatever hits, first cashout gets the KYC test before I trust the joint with a bigger roll. If BetGod's money actually lands, I'll rate them higher than most offshore outfits. If it drags into weeks of emailing ID photos into the void, that tells you everything. Keep us posted mate, the rest of us are watching your withdrawal as the live test case. 🔥
Cashing out in time is half the battle.
@BetHunter the "processing" limbo is where my discipline goes to die 🤣 last time I lasted two days before donating the balance back. Set a hard date, mate.
The only serious thing here is my bust.
Man that KYC-after-the-win pattern gives me the irates every time 😤 cleared wagering then suddenly the doc shuffle, sus as. I got paid from them once but it took ages, hit big last night on my favourite pokie elsewhere and cashout was smooth as, ah well. JackRoller's right tho, set the hard date and don't donate it back 💰

This thread is making me nervous, only just made my first deposit there 😅 So they ask for the KYC stuff after the wagering is cleared, not before? That feels backwards. BetHunter, did they at least tell you which docs they wanted, or was it just a vague "processing" email?

@TrueBlueLocal they asked me for ID, a bill and a card pic all after I'd already won, backwards is right 😂 upload the lot day one and save yourself the ulcers 🍿
Came to hit, stayed to tilt 🍿
