Same thing caught me out there, had a decent hit and the cashout just sat in the checks pile until I sent through my ID and a bill with my address. Lesson learned, sort the docs before you deposit. Anyone know if crypto withdrawals skip the verification queue or do they ask for the same paperwork anyway?

Yeah a bill with the address is the one that trips everyone up, nobody thinks about it till they're stuck. Remember turning a slap on the pokies into a tidy sum once and then sitting there for days waiting on paperwork I could've had ready in ten minutes 😉 worth remembering too that these offshore mobs are outside ACMA's reach, so if a check really jams there's no local authority to ring. Greed makes you deposit fast, patience makes you cash out fast.
It's all hit and busted before, folks.

That bill with the address bit me too, had to scramble for a utility one 😅 Does anyone know if crypto cashouts skip the ID queue at Stay, or do they still ask?

Three of you with the same story says it all, really. Crypto skipping the KYC queue? Doubt it, they usually still ask before the first payout, and on an offshore site I'd want the ID done anyway so they've got no excuse to sit on my money. Anyone actually had a crypto cashout go through there without sending docs? I'll believe it when someone shows the receipt.

ah well, this thread reads like a support group for the checks pile 😄 my bit to add: take the address doc photo straight on, flat on the table, good light. mine came back once because the corner of the bill was curled and the cheeky thing cut off half the postcode. that little bounce cost me more days than the hit took to win. and yeah, crypto question comes up every time with these offshore joints, I honestly don't know if Stay skips anything for it, anyone here actually had one go through? my money's on them still wanting the ID first anyway, Manly's right that you want that done before they've got an excuse to sit there. keep a utility bill and your licence photos saved on the phone, takes two minutes and saves the wait. ah well, we grind on
I remember the old slots first-hand.

Reading this thread I only just realised I've got no idea what counts as a proper "utility bill" 🙈 my name's not on any of the bills at home, they're all in my flatmate's name. Do they accept a bank statement with my address instead, or does it have to match the ID name exactly? Still learning bonuses and all this paperwork side 😅

The utility bill thing just means any doc from a service provider that shows your name and address. So gas, electricity, water, that sort of thing, addressed to you at the place you live. It has to match the ID you send, name and address both, because they're checking it's really you. Your flatmate's bills won't cut it since your name isn't on them, but a bank statement usually works as the alternative. Most places accept one as proof of address, especially if it's a proper statement showing the address on the account, not just a screenshot of the app. Download a recent one as a PDF if your bank lets you, cleaner than photographing paper anyway. Once I got knocked back years back over a blurry scan of an old phone bill, took me a week to figure out what the fuss was. And don't count on crypto skipping the checks either, they'll want the docs before the first payout no matter how the money moves, like Manly said.

ChasingLossesAgain has it right, the name on both docs has to line up or they'll bounce it. Bank statement worked for a mate of mine when his bills were in the landlord's name, but expect them to ask twice anyway. Offshore site, no local regulator to yell at if they stall, so I'd have every doc polished before the first deposit myself.

Bank statement answer for the newbie: mine worked when the bills were in the wife's name, same deal, name matching my ID. Only drama was the bank PDF had my old address from three moves ago, so keep that current or they'll query it. Ah well, we grind on.
Busted more than you've deposited 😉

WageringReq_FC's old address thing got me too, my statement had a pre-Darwin flat on it and they queried it twice. Got a cashout screenshot from anyone who actually got paid after the checks?

CairnsKid the real question 😂 everyone shares their doc checklist but nobody shows the paid screenshot. I had a slap there too and yeah, they queried mine twice over a dated bill. It's an offshore outfit taking Aussies, so if it jams in checks there's no ACMA mob to ring, you're just refreshing your inbox. But did you actually get the withdrawal through, or still sitting?

Same drill here, statement had my old Geelong address and they queried it. Keep everything current before you deposit, saves a fortnight of back and forth.

ArvoKid makes a fair point about the paid screenshot, but in my case the money did land eventually, it just cost me a couple of weeks of emailing PDFs back and forth. What caught me out was that my ID was fine, the drama was proof of address. My utility bill had the unit number missing from the street address and they would not accept it, kept coming back with the same canned query. Re-sent it with the full line as it appears on the rates notice and it cleared straight away. On the crypto question from the OP, I have no firsthand answer, I went the standard route. There is a variance nuance here though, people assume crypto skips checks entirely. From what I saw the account verification happens regardless, the withdrawal method is a separate step. Anyone who has actually done a crypto cashout there could settle that properly, because I am guessing on a small sample of one. 📊

Paid screenshot here, eventually. My hit cleared the checks and the cashout landed, but only after I fished up a current utility bill because my old one got bounced like everyone else's. Went in with docs ready next deposit and the second withdrawal sailed through, so it's on you to be prepped. Crypto skipping the queue, no idea, never tried it there.
Bonus taken, wagering cleared.
