Coin Casino asked me for KYC right before my cashout
Been through the exact same thing, cashout pending and then boom, verify this and that. Crypto place so I figured it'd be lighter on the checks but no, they wanted ID, proof of address, the works. Annoying when it lands right at the payout stage instead of at signup.
What I'd say is just get it in early and answer everything they ask, first go. Half the delays are from sending a photo with a glare on the licence and they kick it back. Still waiting to hear whether my cashout actually moves once it clears, bankroll is sitting there doing nothing which stings a bit. Anyone know if these crypto outfits are slower on the check or quicker once it's done?

Ah BetGod, that timing gets me every time. Years back I had a crypto joint hold a cashout till I sent ID, a selfie holding the passport, proof of address, the whole circus. No sign of it at signup of course. just when the money's leaving. annoying but it's the crypto ones doing the deepest checks these days, funny enough. Quick question, maybe I'm being dumb here but what's a "selfie holding the passport"? Like they literally want a photo of you holding it open? Never had to do that one yet 🙈 still learning bonuses and all the verification stuff, so wanna know before I hit my first cashout

Yeah Adelaide, exactly that. They want a pic of you holding your ID or passport open next to your face, so they can match the photo on the doc to the actual living punter asking for the money. Some places ask for a handwritten note with the date and casino name in it too, stops people recycling old photos. Annoying the first time but it's a one-off usually, then the cashout moves.
Only got asked for ID at my first crypto cashout too and I panicked thinking I'd done something wrong 😅 Turns out it's just standard before the money moves. I sent a photo of my licence and a selfie holding it and they were fine with it, no dramas. Good to know before it happens though, wish someone had told me 🙏

What got me was they came back once asking for the selfie again because the light was "too dim". Second one with the kitchen light on and they were happy 😄
Adelaide, don't stress about the selfie bit, just make sure the whole doc is in frame and your mug matches the photo on it. Take it in decent light the first time and you'll save yourself a re-do.ah well, we grind on
