That's a rough one, closing the account with money still sitting there and KYC half-done. That's where these places love to stall you. Went through something similar with an offshore joint years back, they dragged the verification out until I nearly gave up. Did they give you a reason for the closure, or was it just a blanket "account closed" email? 💸

the stalling bit is the part that gets me, BetGod. they know exactly what they're doing - every week the verification drags on is another week hoping you'll just go quiet and write it off.
i've had a balance frozen at one of these offshore spots years back, turned 50 into 5k once there and then watched them sit on it while asking for the same id photos three times over. what worked in the end was being a broken record in writing, one polite email a day, and keeping screenshots of everything, balance, closure notice, the lot. if the kyk wasn't finished before they shut you out, expect them to use that as the excuse for another round of document requests. tedious but don't let it drop.

KYC half-done means they've got the perfect excuse to drag it, so don't give them one more.

One thing I'd add, and it's from hard experience with another outfit years back, the KYC being half-finished is the exact lever they'll pull. Mine sat there while they kept asking for "one more document", a fresh bank statement, a photo with a bit of paper, round and round it went. Turned a small win into months of emails before I saw a cent, and that was with me chasing weekly like Harry says.
So to LeeManly and CairnsKid's point, no screenshot from me on Boho specifically, and I'm wary of promising anything. What I noticed though: the moment I said I was drafting a complaint and asked them directly, in writing, which regulator they answer to, the tone of their replies changed. Whether that regulator had teeth was another question, but suddenly they stopped moving the goalposts on the verification. Worth a crack before you write it off anyway 😉

The one detail that actually moved things for me was asking them, in writing, to confirm the exact outstanding verification items and a reference number for the case. The moment it's down to a list you can respond to point by point, the "one more document" game gets much harder to play. They'd been emailing me in circles for weeks until I forced the issue into a single thread with everything attached, id, a utility bill, proof of the deposit source. And told them no new requests unless it came off that list.
Can't promise it ends the same way for everyone, and I never saw the whole balance again, mind you, they clipped bits off with fees and excuses. But half-finished KYC on a closed account is exactly where they hide, so get everything in writing and keep every email. If anyone here does land a payout after a closure, post the screenshot.

@Sam_Roller885 chasing daily sounds exhausting but probably necessary 😅 I only made my first deposit at Boho a month ago so this thread has me nervous. If they shut my account with a balance in it I'd want that stuff in writing too, otherwise how do you even know what they're claiming? Do they usually reply to those requests or just ignore them? 🙏
