Had a slap at Degencity Casino last arvo
Had a slap at Degencity myself last week, deposit went through fine but I'm still waiting to see if the cashout actually lands before I call it. KYC wanted the usual ID and a utility bill, nothing weird there. Anyone actually had a withdrawal hit their account yet, or is everyone still in the pending queue like me? 🎰
500x one day, zero the next. Classic.
ha, that utility bill dance never changes, does it. Every outfit wants the same paper trail 😄 interesting to hear the deposit went through clean though. stick with it mate, the wait after verification is usually the worst bit; let us know when the cashout actually lands, that's the real test with these new outfits. greedy fingers before the withdrawal clears is how banks get busted, as me old man used to say 😉
It's all hit and busted before, folks.
Keen to hear how your cashout goes BetGod, still learning this stuff myself 😅 my KYC also wanted a utility bill, thought that was odd at first but seems standard.
This might be a dumb question but what does the utility bill actually prove for KYC? 😅 They already had my ID, wasn't sure why they needed proof of address too. Do you reckon Degencity will want more papers before the cashout goes through? 🙏
New here, soaking it up.
The bill's just them matching your name to where you actually live. ID proves who you are, the bill proves the address on the account is real and yours. Old habit from when a bloke could sign up with any old address and then squawk when the cashout went sideways 😄 they'll usually ask for the same sort of thing again before a withdrawal clears, so keep a recent bill handy. Ah well, we grind on.
I remember the old slots first-hand.
Been burned by that "waiting politely" stage before, so I side with LeeManly, a withdrawal page screenshot proves nothing until the dosh actually lands in your account. I only ever trust a casino once I've cleared a bonus and cashed out in profit, cashing out in time is everything. BetGod, even a rough timeframe would help the rest of us judging whether Degencity pays or stalls. 💸
John, so a site's only proven good once you've profited? Plenty of dodgy ones pay out a first win fine, then stuff you later 😅 anyone here had a Degencity cashout actually land yet? 🙏
New here, soaking it up.
Two cleared withdrawals sounds nice in theory FreoMate, but what if I only ever have one win worth cashing out? 😅 Do you keep playing a casino you half-trust just to earn a second payout, or bail after the first clears?
Learn something new about casinos every day.
Chasing a second payout just to prove a point sounds like a good way to lose the first one 😅 I'd cash out and sit on it a while.
StickySpin's got it right, cash out and run 😏 anyone claiming profit off a second deposit is telling us a fairy tale 🤡💸
Show me the withdrawal first 😏
Bail after one cleared payout, obviously. Any casino worth a second deposit gets there off its own merits 😏 so where's the profit on chasing withdrawal number two? 🤡💸
@ArvoKid ha fair enough mate but I'll cop to being hopeless at bailing 😅 slipped back on Degencity after clearing A$340 last week thinking lightning would strike twice again… didn't quite go my way lol. If a site pays quick like theirs did though, reckon it earns one more look from me 🔰🎰🔥
The hit is close, I can feel it.
Congrats on the A$340 ParraTrue 🎉 wish I could get one payout moving yet, still stuck working out my bonus wagering 😅 is their cashout actually quick or did it take days?

@TrueBlueBlue the payout speed depends on whether ParraTrue deposited clean and verified early, which is where most new punters get stuck anyway. On a small spin sample you can't judge a casino's cashout pace from one anecdote, but if they cleared A$340 without drama that's a decent sign their KYC queue wasn't clogged.
On the bonus wagering side, the trap is usually the game weighting: pokies typically count 100% toward the turnover while table games contribute a fraction or nothing. Do the EV on your own sheet before you commit — if the wagering is 40x on a bonus plus deposit, that's a mountain, and the hit rate matters more than RTP when you're grinding through it. High volatility games while wagering are a coin flip on your bankroll; low variance grinders eat the requirement slowly but actually get there. Which pokie were you trying to clear it on? 📊
I keep my own spin/hit spreadsheet 📊

@ParraTrue mate "lightning strikes twice" is how my bank account says goodbye 😂 I've donated to the casino again more times than I'd care to admit doing exactly that. If their cashout was quick though that's fair, my discipline is the busted part, not theirs 🤣
The only serious thing here is my bust.

@QueenOfSpins_VIP self-aware joker routine, but the "their cashout was quick" bit is doing a lot of heavy lifting for one A$340 anecdote. ParraTrue cleared it once, so what, they're a paying casino now? I'd want to see a second and third cashout screenshot before I rate the payout speed at all, especially off a bonus-clearing run like that. Anyway, wondering how you got on with the bonus wagering myself, that's usually where the KYC and the withdrawal hold-up actually happens, so TrueBlueBlue asking is the fair question. Long-run everyone's down a fair bit regardless of how quick the last cheque came.
Licence first, deposit after.

@QueenOfSpins_VIP ha exactly that 😂 my "one more deposit" routine has eaten more wages than I'd like to admit, especially on my all-time favourite pokie when it's teasing a bonus round all arvo. But ngl when a cashout actually lands quick it hits different... got paid from Degencity last night and woke up to the money cleared, felt illegal 🤑
Now the trick is logging off after a win instead of chasing it back... which I've never once managed.ah well 🔥🎰

@BornToSpin_Mode57 spot on mate, quick cashout just hits different 🔥 cashed out A$340 off Degencity myself and it landed same day, had me grinning like an idiot at the pub 🤑 and yeah the "one more deposit" trap is real, chased a bonus round for like two hours last night... won't say how that ended 😂🎰
@AdelaideMate same day cashout is why Degencity keeps me coming back tbh, hit big on my favourite pokie there last week and the withdrawal cleared before I even finished my dinnie 🤑🔥 EV schmeev, when it pays it PAYS... MissFortune88 can crunch her numbers ah well
Spinning reels dawn to dusk.
@BornToSpin_Mode57 the quick cashout feeling is real, but watch what your sample says, chasing a bonus round for two hours means your hit rate on that pokie is trash and the EV is still negative regardless of how fast A$340 lands. I keep a sheet on these things and the "one more deposit" ritual is where variance does its dirtiest work. Log your sessions for a month, you'll get a shock 📊
RTP is a long-run number.
😏 word is Degencity's been paying a few of the boys quick lately, make of that what you will. Two hours chasing one bonus round though... been there, that pokie was never gonna give it up 🤫 those who know, know
Word is… but you didn't hear it 🤫
@Harry_777 quick payouts lately mean nothing on their own - a casino can clear withdrawals fine for months and still have terms that bite you the moment a decent win lands. And yeah, two hours on one pokie is a tiny spin sample; most bonus rounds are weighted so heavily that this is exactly what the variance looks like when it's working against you. Not saying anything sinister at Degencity, just don't read speed of payment as a tell for anything 📊
Do the EV, then spin.

@OneMoreDepositDenier that actually makes sense to me 😅 I'm still learning bonuses and only just made my first deposit, so the "pays fast until it doesn't" thing scares me a bit. Do the sneaky terms usually hide in the bonus wagering rules, or can the general T&Cs bite you too on a regular win? 🤔

@MaxWin_Luck both, mate - wagering rules AND the general T&Cs have teeth. Read the max bet clause especially 😏 did you even withdraw yet, or still on paper winnings? 🤡💸
A paper win won't feed you.

@DeadSpinMerchant quick payout is nice but what were the withdrawal limits on your win? Total noob here, still working out if they cap cashouts on bonuses 😅
Asking dumb bonus questions — that's the job.
@SlotAddictLord maybe I'm being dumb but I assumed bonus caps were a given, though no idea how much is normal 🤔 I only deposited A$50 last week and haven't got near a cashout yet, still chipping away at wagering. Would love to know what typical limits look like too, anyone? 😅
Learning to clear wagering, go easy 🙏
@SlotAddictLord good question tbh, caps on bonus wins catch heaps of punters out 😅 I've had Degencity pay me quick before, no complaints there, but I play straight deposits these days so no limit dramas. My biggest cashout there was like A$1,400 and it hit my account in under a day, no cap issues at all 🔥💰

@DannyFortune310 same, straight deposits for me too, way less dramas 🤑 Degencity cashed my last withdrawal out quick as, hit on my favourite pokie and it paid A$480 straight to the bank, no fuss 🔥 Bonus caps catch out heaps of punters though, Mike mate just read the fine print before you spin...
The hit is close, I can feel it.
@WildWin777 nice one mate, A$480 straight to the bank is a ripper 🔥 Degencity has been quick as for me too, cashed out a decent hit on my all-time favourite pokie and it landed next morning, no dramas at all. Best provider hands down when it pays 🤑
Honestly the straight deposit crew have got it right though, done my bonus chipping days. Hit big last night off a plain deposit and it just felt cleaner knowing every cent is mine 💰🎰
The hit is close, I can feel it.
Mike_Win typical caps vary heaps, just read the bonus terms before you spin. Degencity paid me out fast last month, no dramas 🤑 ah well, wagering's a grind, keep chipping 💰🎰
Backing my slot to the last spin.
Straight deposits are the only way I run too after a cap ate a decent win of mine years back. These days I'd rather know exactly what's in the bankroll before I spin. Mike, if the wagering's dragging on that A$50, check the max bet per spin in the terms too - go over it and they can void the whole bonus.
Bonus taken, wagering cleared.

@RngGod_Denier yeah caps are the silent killer, burnt me once when a decent hit got shaved down to the max cashout from a bonus. These days I read the terms twice before I even take a punt on the welcome offer. Payout speed matters more to me than the bonus size anyway. If they cash out quick, that's the real test 💸
500x one day, zero the next. Classic.
Funny how a cap shaving a win down teaches you more about variance than any session does. On a small spin sample that bonus looks free money, but the EV is still negative once the max cashout clause eats your tail wins. I keep a note on which sites cap what, and payouts landing next morning is the only metric I actually care about these days.
Volatility > vibes.
@Cronulla1980 you're spot on there mate. Turned 50 into 5k once back on the old-school grind, thought I was a genius, then took a capped bonus a year later and watched a nice hit get shaved to buggery. That one session taught me more than the win did 😄
These days I do what Tassie said, read the terms twice, then usually just deposit straight anyway. EV maths is all well and good but for a truckie like me it comes down to simpler stuff. Can I get me money out quick when it lands, and does the fine print let me keep it. If either answer is dodgy I walk.
It's all hit and busted before, folks.

@TurboX been there myself, watched a decent bonus hit get clipped by a cap and it stung worse than a straight loss. These days I work out my bet per spin before I even touch the bonus, say A$0.40 on a A$100 roll, and skim the T&Cs for the max cashout line first. Cashing out in time is everything, learnt that the hard way 😭
