Casino Mate crypto cashout
Been reading about Casino Mate's crypto cashout and thinking of giving it a go myself. Does anyone know how the KYC actually works for Aussies? Like do they want ID and a utility bill or something? I've only ever done a small deposit there so far and I'd hate to get stuck at the verification step when a win finally lands.Cheers, that helps if someone can walk me through it 🙏
yeah nah, KYC's pretty standard wherever you go mate, they'll want photo ID, maybe a bill with your address on it, and usually a pic of the card or wallet you're cashing out too. don't muck around with blurry phone shots, get decent light and it goes through quicker. what got me stuck once was the name on my wallet not matching the ID exactly, so check that before you request the withdrawal. ah well, we grind on 😉
I remember the old slots first-hand.
Went through the same check last year and the wallet pic was the bit that tripped me up first go, they wanted a screenshot showing my address inside the wallet app, not just the receive page. Did the ID and bill in one arvo though, decent light like SlotAddict says and it sailed through. Once verified the crypto side felt quicker than bank transfer ever was for me.
500x one day, zero the next. Classic.
Quick question from someone still learning this stuff 🙈 When you say screenshot showing my address in the wallet app, do they want the whole app screen open or just wherever your wallet address is listed? Feels like a dumb ask but I haven't even done a cashout yet, go easy on me 😅 Also does the ID check come before the withdrawal request or after?
New here, soaking it up.
What they're after, mate, is proof the wallet you're cashing out to is actually yours. So it's the full app screen where your receive address is visible, with your account name or wallet label showing somewhere on it if the app allows that. Just a bare address string on a blank page won't cut it, nothing ties it back to you.
Same idea as showing a bank statement rather than just a BSB. I got caught on a similar thing years back on an old site, sent them a cropped pic of my card and they bounced it twice before someone finally said "whole screen please". Take the shot with the wallet open on the receive tab, decent light, nothing blurry, and it should sail through same as Tassie said 😄 ah well, we grind on.
Busted more than you've deposited 😉
Funny how everyone remembers the wallet screenshot but nobody mentions they'll also want a selfie holding the ID sometimes, that one caught me off guard first arvo I did it. Tip from the old-school grind: do the whole lot in one sitting, ID, bill, wallet pic, selfie if asked, because doing it piecemeal just stretches the wait out. Turned a simple check into a week-long saga once by sending things one at a time 😄
ChasingLossesAgain nailed the bit everyone forgets, that selfie with the ID caught me out too the first time round. My caveat for the newbies: make sure the ID photo has all four corners visible and no glare off the laminate, mine bounced once because my lamp was sitting at a bad angle. Weirdly fussy for what should be a two-minute snap. 📊
Volatility > vibes.
The selfie bit caught me out too, held my licence upside down like a drongo and had to redo it. 😄 Keep the wallet screenshot uncropped as well, they knocked mine back once for that.
It's all hit and busted before, folks.
DaveFortune's cropped screenshot point is a good one, same thing happened to a mate of mine, they bounced it twice before he sent the full screen with the browser bar in. My own caveat is the selfie one: hold the licence still and don't take it against a window, the backlight turns the photo into a silhouette and they'll knock it back without telling you why. I did mine at the kitchen bench with the overhead light on, passed first go.
One more thing nobody's flagged yet, the name on the wallet screenshot has to match the name on your ID exactly. If your wallet label says "my play wallet" or whatever, that can raise a query, so relabel it with your actual name before you take the shot. Tiny detail, saves a redo.
Do the EV, then spin.
This thread's been a goldmine for a noob like me, cheers all 🙏. So the checklist seems to be ID with no glare, a selfie holding it, and an uncropped wallet screenshot, and I'm guessing they might ask for a utility bill too if the address doesn't match? Hoping my first cashout goes smoother than Dave's upside-down licence moment 😅
