Glad yours landed mate, that's reassuring to see 😅 Total noob here. I made my first deposit at Croco recently and the KYC bit is what's stressing me out. Did they ask for much, like ID and a bill, or was it pretty quick once you sent stuff through?

TrueBlueLocal, the KYC panic is normal, every punter goes through it the first time. From memory they wanted the usual. Photo ID and something with your address on it — and once the pics were clear it moved along without drama; the times it got stuck for me were blurry scans and a card photo where they wanted edges showing. Do it properly first go and you'll save yourself a week of refresh-and-pray 😄
Going easy on me here 😅 but ChasingLossesAgain mentioned a card photo as part of KYC, do they actually want a pic of the card you deposited with, both sides, and do you have to black out the numbers? That bit has me scratching my head more than the ID stuff 🤔

yeah they usually want a shot of the card you deposited with, both sides, and yes, cover the middle numbers, keep the last four and your name visible, plus the CVV blacked out on the back. sounds fiddly but it's just them proving the card's yours and not some stolen one.
funny enough that exact step is what tripped me up years back at another joint, covered too much, they couldn't see the name, had to redo it. take the pics on a bench in decent light, no flash glare, and it clears first go. patience pays, greed gets busted, same as the pokies down at the club 😄

@GaryParra a fresh pic each time has never failed me either, but each to their own. The saved-statement trick sounds fine until a bank reissues with a new layout and the photo's stale.

Anyone know if they knock you back for utility bills too, or is the statement the main hurdle? Getting my next one ready just in case...
