Anyone actually got money out of Duel Casino from Australia?
Been burnt by this exact worry before so keen to read the replies π
I'm still new to online casinos (first deposit was only last month) and cashout is the scary part for me too. Duel being offshore has me hesitant - anyone actually had the KYC check go smooth with them? π
Geelong mate, been down this road more times than I can count, the deposits always glide in like a dream, it's the cashout where the rubber meets the road. I haven't tried Duel myself so I won't pretend, but with offshore joints my rule is simple: get the KYC docs in before you deposit, not after you've won and are waiting on a payout. ah well, we grind on, but greed has busted more banks than bad luck ever did π
I remember the old slots first-hand.
Same worry here, never actually played Duel myself so can't vouch for the cashout side. Rule I go by with any offshore joint: get the KYC sorted before you chase a bonus, then keep the first withdrawal small to test the pipes. SlotsAddict is spot on though, deposits never stick, it's the payout where you find out what you're dealing with ππΈ
500x one day, zero the next. Classic.
Sorry if this is a dumb question π
but what does "get the KYC sorted first" actually mean? Do I have to upload ID before depositing, or only when I ask for a withdrawal? π€
Learn something new about casinos every day.
No dumb question at all mate - KYC just means "know your customer", the ID check where they want a photo of your licence or passport and maybe a utility bill before they pay you out. Some joints let you do it upfront, most ask when you first cash out, and that's exactly where things stall if you haven't got clean documents ready. BetGod's right: get it sorted early and keep that first withdrawal small, turned 50 into 5k once and the paperwork nearly killed me worse than the wait did π
It's all hit and busted before, folks.
BetGod's "keep the first withdrawal small" tip is solid but does my head in a bit, if the pipes are dud, wouldn't you rather find out before you've chased a bonus through? Clearing wagering then getting stung at the cashier is the worst outcome. Keen to hear if anyone's actually run Duel's KYC yet π
Bonus taken, wagering cleared.
Fortune_77 nailed it i reckon. chasing a bonus through wagering before you've seen a single dollar come back is the old trap - reminds me of grinding the old slots back in the day, you'd feed a dead machine all arvo waiting on the feature that never landed. same energy as clearing wagering on an offshore site then finding out the cashier's where things go quiet π
my two cents: with any joint that'll take aussies but answers to nobody here, do it in this order. Verify id first, small deposit, small cashout, and only then think about bonus play. if the kyc docs bounce back with some vague "processing" line week after week, you've lost a little instead of a lot. haven't run duel's check myself so i can't vouch for their pipes, but the test-withdrawal habit has saved my bacon more times than i can count. keen to hear from anyone who's actually been paid by them too π
Honestly the small-first-withdrawal advice makes sense to me π
I'd rather cop a slow payout on A$50 than lose a few hundred I churned through wagering. Still haven't found anyone who's actually cleared Duel's KYC though, which is the part doing my head in. Cheers Fortune_77 for saying it out loud π
New here, soaking it up.

I'll try a tiny withdrawal first whenever I get around to depositing, just to test the pipes.
@Mike_Win testing the pipes with a tiny withdrawal first is exactly right, and I'd keep it even smaller than you're thinking, A$50 or thereabouts, enough to see the KYC queue and payment rail without risking much of your churned balance. On a small spin sample the variance doesn't matter here; what matters is whether the cashier answers at all. Worth also checking whether they ask for ID before your first withdrawal or only after, some sites front-load the checks, some spring them on you when you've already got money in.
I keep my own spin/hit spreadsheet π

@ChasingLossesAgain ha, dead machine all arvo, been there too many times ngl π
these days I just skip bonuses altogether, churned a A$400 balance once chasing wagering and saw none of it back, ah well. Keen to see if anyone's actually cleared their KYC too, the pipes test with A$50 is the way π₯
Backing my slot to the last spin.

@RngGod_Denier that A$400 story hurts to read π
I only made my first deposit recently and I'm already getting the feeling bonuses just tie your balance down until the wagering's cleared, so maybe skipping them is how you actually see money back. Does an active bonus slow the KYC or payout
Asking dumb bonus questions β that's the job.

@SlotAddictLord reckon a bonus can add a wrinkle to payouts, terms usually say max bet rules can void winnings π¬ I'm still learning wagering myself, so keen if anyone's actually cashed out with one active.

@LuckIsAllTillIWin cashed out with a bonus active? A win on paper, right π€‘ saw blokes clear wagering then get knocked back on max bet they didn't even know they broke. Did you even withdraw once? π
Here to argue, not to clap for your profit.
