Anyone else reverse a National Casino cashout and regret it right away
Dead set this exact dance got me last month. Hit a decent run on the pokies at National, put the cashout in, then sat there staring at the pending balance like it was burning a hole in my screen. Reversed it "just one more slap". Gone in about twenty spins. 🀄 nothing, not even a feature to show for it.
These days I lock the withdrawal and walk away, no exceptions. Cashing out in time is everything; the balance isn't yours until it lands. Anyone here actually made money reversing and running it back, or is it just me funding the house every time? 😭💸
500x one day, zero the next. Classic.
did the same dance more times than i care to admit, once turned a small slap into a decent win, hit the cashout, reversed it "for one more crack" and watched it evaporate quicker than a carton at a club christmas party 😄 these days i force myself to let the withdrawal ride and walk off. if the itch is that bad, treat the pending balance like it's already spent, because the moment you reverse, the pokies will smell it.
ChasingLossesAgain, when you say let the withdrawal ride, does the pending balance sit there the whole time or does it disappear from your account straight away? 😅

the balance stays put while the cashout's pending. You can see it sitting there, which is exactly the temptation. most sites give you a window to reverse it, and that window is where they get you. i did it once, flipped a healthy cashout back "just one spin on the old feature" and the pokies ate the lot before the free games even landed. these days i picture that greedy fella at the club who keeps feeding a dead machine. Leave the withdrawal alone and walk away 😉
It's all hit and busted before, folks.
That pending window isn't a courtesy, Dave. It's designed exactly for this, they know most punters will reverse it within the hour. A cashout you can un-click with one button is barely a cashout at all.
And I'll say the usual: did anyone here actually get paid by National without a drama, and got a cashout screenshot to back it up? Half these threads praise the site then go quiet when someone asks about the withdrawal actually landing. Lock the request, walk away, and check the blacklist status before anyone hands them another slap.

LeeManly's got it right, that reverse button is a bankroll killer dressed up as a feature. I've learned the hard way: bet 2 a spin chasing it back after reversing and the balance went in three sittings 💸. Cashing out in time is everything. These days I lock it and close the laptop before my fingers get ideas 🔥

@FreoMate that 500x mental trick is actually genius, might steal it 😂 I reversed once at National and got lucky, turned it into a decent hit last night, but I know full well I got away with one ah well. Cashout stays clicked from now on... probably 🤑🎰
Backing my slot to the last spin.

@NumbersHunter "got away with one" is the whole story right there. Nice hit though, screenshot the cashout if you got it, otherwise it's just a story I've heard a hundred times.

@Manly_North fair point, screenshots or it didn't happen. But the maths side of it doesn't need proof, one survivor story means nothing when you look at the sample. Your spin sample is tiny against the RTP curve, and reversal exists precisely because the house knows variance drags most punters back in.
FreoMate's trick works because it reframes the balance as already lost. I keep it simpler: I set the withdrawal, close the tab, done. Every reverse click I've made there cost me more than the cashout was worth in EV terms. The button is a trap dressed as flexibility, honestly.
RTP is a long-run number.

@MissFortune88 that maths angle makes sense to me 😅 still learning this stuff, so the reverse button basically undoes the withdrawal and the money plays like normal balance? That's what I gathered.
New here, soaking it up.
FreoMate's 500x trick is good but mine's simpler. I reversed once, balance lasted about as long as a chat with Telstra support 🤣 Now the cashout goes in and I pretend the reverse button doesn't exist, right up until I don't. My bank left in style last time I clicked it 😂
Came to hit, stayed to tilt 🍿
Reversing a cashout's how I busted more banks than most of you've deposited 😄 turned 50 into 5k once doing it, then handed the lot back chasing the same dragon two weeks later. MissFortune's right, one survivor story is just survivorship, and NumbersHunter knows it deep down. The withdraw button only works if you treat it as one-way, mate. ah well, we grind on
I remember the old slots first-hand.
Only made one cashout so far and the reverse button sat there tempting me the whole wait 😅 so what actually happens if I click it, does the whole amount go back to bonus balance?
@StickySpin @Brizzie_North the reverse button just cancels the pending withdrawal and puts the full amount back into your playable balance, not bonus funds. I've clicked it once on a National cashout and the money was back in play within minutes, which is exactly why it's dangerous. The longer the pending window, the more ways a punter talks themselves into it. On a small spin sample a reversal feels like skill; over the long run it's just delaying the same maths.
I keep my own spin/hit spreadsheet 📊
Thanks Cascade77, that clears it up 😅 my first cashout's pending now and that button's staring at me too. Leaving it alone, I've got like A$40 to my name lol

Reversed one at National months back, won it up to A$180 off that pending amount 🔥 then lost the lot, ah well. That button's pure evil tbh 😅

@DeadSpinMerchant that's the textbook trap, you got the dopamine hit of A$180 then gave back the lot plus the original cashout. Your expected result on a reverse is almost always worse than the withdrawal itself, EV is still negative even when the session starts with a win. The button's only genuinely useful case is an emergency, everything else is the house whispering "one more spin".
Volatility > vibes.
That button staring at ya is half the temptation mate 😅 mate of mine who works the floor at a club reckons the reversed ones nearly always go straight back in. Leave it pending, let the withdrawal clear, then decide if you're bored. Cheaper that way 🤫
Slot's heating up, don't ask details.

@TomBonus yeah that's the smart way, but geez the willpower needed 😅 I reversed a pending cashout at National once and smashed it back in within a minute, no wins, just gone. Now I logout the second I hit withdraw lol. Do they let you lock the button at all? 🤔🔥
The hit is close, I can feel it.
