Ripper Casino cashout question - odd thing I noticed during KYC
Glad someone brought this up because I hit the same weird bit in the KYC flow at Ripper and it spooked me a bit π
total noob here with only one cashout ever attempted, so I've got no idea if it's normal or not. Did anyone else find the verification check asks for something you weren't expecting? Keen to hear how the money side went for you before I send mine off. And what was the wait like after you got approved? π

Never spooked me yet, but then I've been through more verification checks than I care to count, the KYC bit usually feels like overkill until you realise it's the one thing standing between you and your money. Seen plenty of docs bounce back for blurry photos, so take a proper shot and you'll mostly be right. Ah well, we grind on π
I remember the old slots first-hand.
"Overkill" is that a bad sign then? π
I'm only up to the verification bit myself before my first Ripper cashout and honestly the whole KYC thing has me second-guessing what I'm allowed to send. Did the extra stuff they asked you slow down getting paid, or was it fine once you sent it through?
New here, soaking it up.
"Overkill" in a good way, mate. It just means they ask for more paperwork than seems necessary, licence, utility bill, sometimes a selfie holding your ID, all before a single dollar moves. Annoying while you're doing it, but it's the one gate between you and your cash, so I'd rather jump through it than skip it.
I've been through this cycle more times than I can count. Turned 50 into 5k once back on the old-school pokies, Jacks or Better, the old high-paying era. And even then the KYC drag felt like forever until the cheque actually landed. Sent what they asked, kept copies of everything, and it went through fine. If Ripper asks for something extra at your stage, just give it to them clean and don't crop anything out of the photos. Slow to start, smooth at the finish. π
bit of advice from someone who's done this dance more times than I'd like, read exactly what the KYC page asks for before you snap anything, and send only that. they usually want the doc edges visible and all four corners showing, and I've seen lads get knocked back for a glare on the plastic or a hand covering half the licence. if it flags something unexpected, it's usually just a stricter read on the same stuff, nothing sinister.
my first decent cashout online I panicked at the extras they wanted, sent a rushed photo and it sat there days while they asked again. second time round I took proper shots and the whole thing went through smooth. greed makes you sloppy, patience gets you paid π anyone here actually had Ripper pay out clean after the check, or did the wait drag?
It's all hit and busted before, folks.
This thread's been dead helpful for a newbie like me π
I'm doing my first Ripper verification now too, so I'll take Dave's advice and only send exactly what the KYC page asks for, nothing extra. Maybe I'm being dumb but does the selfie-with-ID bit weird anyone else out or is that just standard these days? π€
Learning to clear wagering, go easy π
Dave's tip is gold. I sent my whole folder of docs once and they queried half of it, extra delay for nothing. Send exactly what the page lists, get paid quicker πΈ
Good tip Dave, thanks π I did my first KYC at another site recently and over-sent docs too, just caused confusion. Is the selfie holding ID part of Ripper's page or extra? π

@ManlySouth yeah same lesson here, dumped like six docs on them my first cashout and they came back asking which one was which π
did a A$400 withdrawal last week, sent only the three things on the page and it cleared fast as anything. Ripper's solid, people just trip themselves up ah well
Backing my slot to the last spin.
